Jonathan and I have close friends who were having a baby! Jonathan shares the love of working out with them and we thought we should make them a CrossFit/Barbell themed baby shower gift.
After I created some CrossFit related designs on the computer and cut them out with my Cricut, I used the fabric paint method (explained in a different post here)to finish them up!
Here’s my take on the traditional “diaper cake”! I used a PVC pipe and wrapped diapers to make a barbell. You can find the diaper wrapping technique on any “diaper cake” tutorial. The owl holding the weights was on their registry and I think he made a great addition to the barbell! Then I turned a Home Depot box inside out and put the “Rogue” brand name on it to make it look like a box jump like they have in CrossFit gyms. Here’s a picture of the gift and what’s inside!
