I realized I am around some of the most talented women and men; seamstresses, quilters, embroiderers, bakers, decorators, chefs, crochetters, knitters, woodworkers, carpenters, basket weavers, photographers, graphics designers, painters- the list goes on and on.
I not only intend on sharing my own DIYs and how-to tutorials with you, but I will also be sharing ideas, projects, techniques, and successes of my relatives!
The desire to create, craftsmanship, notions, jars of buttons, old lace removed and saved, fabric, yarn, etc… have all been passed down through many generations in the family. The older generations made what they needed and never threw anything away. I have learned to craft from the best of the best.
